Friction Materials for Farm Machinery
Rigid molded friction is the backbone of agricultural brake and clutch service. Our molded and rigid friction products include Scan-Pac RF38, a non-asbestos material developed specifically for medium-friction applications on agricultural and heavy-duty equipment. It is non-corrosive, gentle on mating surfaces, and can be molded to nearly any internal or external shape.
For band and drum applications that call for a flexible lining, Green Gripper woven friction material delivers consistent, high friction in wet or dry conditions. And for off-highway machines, we supply friction materials for Caterpillar off-road equipment along with linings for most other earthmoving and farm equipment brands.
PTO Facings and Clutch Components
Power take-off clutches take a beating from repeated engagement under load. Kor-Pak manufactures geartooth facings and supplies clutch facings for Twin Disc, Wichita, Rockford, Stearns, and Reuland PTOs and power units, available in standard medium-friction and high-torque formulations. Send us a part number or a worn facing and we will cross-reference it, or reverse engineer it if the original is discontinued.
Phenolic Bushings and Wear Parts
Phenolic bushings outlast bronze in many farm equipment pivot and bearing positions because they run quietly, resist moisture and chemicals, and need little lubrication. Kor-Pak supplies Gatke and Ryertex phenolic bearings machined to your print, plus sheet, rod, and tube stock from our full range of phenolics and laminates.
Brake Band Assemblies
Brake bands for agricultural equipment are one of our signature custom products. We fabricate complete band assemblies, reline worn bands with molded or woven material, and reverse engineer obsolete bands from a sample. If your equipment maker has dropped support for an older model, we can keep it stopping safely.
Driveline Protection: Torque Limiters, Couplings & Backstops
A jammed auger or baler can destroy a gearbox in seconds. Kor-Pak supplies torque limiters, including Warner Electric units, that slip at a preset value and protect the driveline through routine overloads. We also stock shaft couplings for implement and pump drives, and Marland backstops and overrunning clutches for bucket elevators and inclined conveyors in grain-handling systems.
